Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. She's an actor in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime until March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project, which is a key member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. The GI TOC's research is focused on assassinations (including disappearances) as well as violence and different types of crimes with respect to illicit economy. Her interests in research also include the effect of criminal organizations on human rights and humanitarian laws and policies. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction on International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds earned an LL.M. qualification with a concentration in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a qualified lawyer who worked at a law firm focusing on public law litigation for over four years. In addition, she worked in assisting posts at non-governmental institutions that are based at Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
